I’m not sure that I’ve shared anything like this in my blog before, but I do feel lead to share this one with you all. Recently, when I was at prayer with some trusted friends, the Lord showed me a ring of fire around our property line and the enemy showed up but could not pass the fire line. In the vision, they were even amazed and in awe of how this was even possible. The Lord told me to look up what happened AFTER Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fire and came out, and I felt in my spirit this would be the same scenario for the enemy who tried to come onto our property but could not make it through the fire line.
For reference, you can read about this miraculous encounter in Daniel 3. A few things the Lord pointed out to me were the fact that the men were so full of faith in God that they told Nebuchadnezzar that to prove their God was real, go ahead and throw them into the fire and watch God save them. And even if He didn’t, they were willing to die vs. serving Nebuchadnezzar’s false gods.
The fire was so hot that it killed the men who threw them into the fire, but they came out not even smelling like smoke. As we know, Jesus showed up in the fire with them and because of this, Nebuchadnezzar instructed them to come out of the fire. They went into the fire bound and left walking out in freedom.
Nebuchadnezzar was so amazed that he praised God himself, then made a decree that if anyone come against the men’s God they would be destroyed. He also promoted the men to even higher positions in Babylon.
So, the very thing meant to destroy Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego became the very thing that promoted them and brought glory to the Lord. This is the significant part the Lord pointed out to me. Their level of faith and willingness to die instead of bowing before false gods, their supernatural level of protection in the fire so hot it killed the servants who got close to throw them in, and the turnaround that happened afterwards.
There are dark, fiery times coming. But I believe the Lord showed me through this vision and the Word that the very things the enemy will try to use to destroy us, will be the very things the Lord uses to bring our promotion and glory to His name. Talk about the ultimate turnaround!!! In my vision, not only was the enemy not able to get onto our property, but they were amazed at it, and it brought glory to our King.
This is good news!!! Even in the midst of dark and perilous times, we can trust that our God has our back!!! It’s time to fine tune our ears to His voice, have radical faith, and obey Him like never before- He’s faithful to the end.
